This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we use it, who we share it with, and what rights you have over it.

1. Who we are

PLAN B TIME is an international mobility and relocation advisory service for Canadian, Spanish and Latin American retirees who wish to live in other countries. The controller of your personal data is PLAN B TIME, contactable at Lbertero@Planbimmigration.com. In this policy, "we" refers to PLAN B TIME and "you" to the person visiting our site or requesting our services.

2. What data we collect

We collect only the information needed to assess your profile and provide you with guidance. This includes:

  • Identification and contact data: first and last name, email address, WhatsApp or phone number.
  • Residency and nationality data: country of citizenship, current country and city of residence, and the composition of your household or travel party.
  • Data about your goals: what you are looking for in retirement (climate, cost of living, beach, city, countryside and others), annual savings range, retirement status, pension amount, approximate move date, and any additional information you choose to share with us.
  • Technical browsing data: IP address, device and browser type, pages visited, and site usage data collected through cookies and similar technologies.

We do not collect sensitive data such as passwords, credit card numbers, security codes, Social Security numbers, bank details or verification codes. Please do not include this type of information in the site's forms.

3. How we use your data

We use your personal data to: (a) respond to your free consultation request and contact you; (b) assess your profile and recommend suitable destinations; (c) coordinate meetings with immigration lawyers and other providers in Panama and Spain; (d) prepare document checklists and guide you through notarization, apostille, translation, banking, property and medical insurance matters; and (e) send you communications related to your process.

If you gave us your consent, we may also send you information about promotions, guides and news on retiring abroad. You can withdraw this consent at any time by writing to us at Lbertero@Planbimmigration.com.

5. Who we share your information with

We do not sell or rent your personal data. We share it only with those who make your process possible:

  • Immigration lawyers and licensed professionals in Panama, Spain and Canada who handle your case.
  • Service providers connected to your relocation: banks, real estate agents and medical insurance companies, and only when you authorize it.
  • Technology service providers that host the site and manage forms and email, subject to confidentiality obligations.
  • Public or governmental authorities, where required by law or where necessary to process your immigration application.

All third parties are contractually required to protect your information and to use it only for the purpose for which it was shared.

6. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies so the site works correctly and to understand how it is used. You can set your browser to reject cookies or to notify you when they are sent; some site features may not work properly if you disable them.

7. How long we keep your data

We keep your personal data for the duration of our advisory relationship and for the additional period necessary to comply with legal, accounting or regulatory obligations and to address potential claims. Once it is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymize it.

8. Information security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss, alteration or improper disclosure, including encryption in transit, access controls and limiting information to the staff and professionals who need it. No system is entirely foolproof, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the following rights over your personal data:

  • Access: to know what data we hold about you.
  • Rectification: to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Erasure: to request deletion of your data (the "right to be forgotten").
  • Objection and restriction: to object to certain processing or ask us to restrict it.
  • Portability: to receive your data in a structured, commonly used format.
  • Withdrawal of consent: to withdraw it at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.

To exercise any of these rights, write to us at Lbertero@Planbimmigration.com. We will respond within a reasonable period and, where applicable, tell you how to lodge a complaint with the competent data protection authority.

10. International data transfers

Our services involve coordinating professionals in Panama, Spain, Canada and other countries. By requesting our guidance, you accept that your data may be transferred to these countries, some of which may have data protection rules different from those in your place of residence. In all cases we require recipients to protect your information in accordance with this policy.

11. Minors

Our services are directed at adults planning their retirement. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe we have received a minor's data, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. We will publish the current version on this page, with the last-updated date shown above. We encourage you to review it periodically.
